More needs to be done to tackle sugar intake

Our daily sugar intake is a hot topic after a new report. Now North East personal trainer David Fairlamb thinks even more can be done.

First celebrity chef Jamie Oliver urged parliament to tax the most sugary items on the supermarket shelves.

As a personal trainer for more than 20 years David has seen first hand the benefits of cutting out sugar. His program, Sugar, Clean, Lean promotes all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Now he’s calling on authorities to bring in the sugar tax to help the rising levels of obesity.
